Hiding or changing the barcode on the gift card

If you accept your gift cards in person, you might find it useful to have the barcode displayed on your gift cards so you can scan them using our redeem app (or your POS terminal's scanner). 

Changing the format of the barcode

By default, we render a PDF417 type barcode, but you can render the following different standards if required:

  • Code128
  • Code39
  • Data Matrix
  • PDF417
  • QR

Just head over to gift card settings and change the setting.
