When customers arrive at reception to book in, they may present you with a Gift Up issued gift card for your hotel. You can check the balance of the gift card and apply the balance to any open folios with a balance due at any point before they check out. 

Connect Gift Up! to your apaleo account

1) Head over to our integrations page and click "connect" on the apaleo card:

2) Sign in to your apaleo account to authorize us to install our app in your apaleo dashboard:

3) Once connected you will see a new tab when looking at a reservation:

How to redeem a gift card in apaleo

After you have connected Gift Up! to your apaleo account you just need to look in a reservation and you'll see our tab. Just enter the gift card code there and you'll be able to validate the balance on the gift card and apply it to any open folios with a due balance:
