Braintree payments

Braintree is a PayPal owned US payment company that allows businesses to accept e-commerce, and mobile payments globally.

Braintree offers merchants online services for accepting electronic payments by payment methods including PayPal, Venmo (in the US), credit and debit cards, and popular digital wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay in a single, seamless integration.

Gift Up! integrates with Braintree, allowing you to use your Braintree account to take payment for your gift card sales via debit/credit card through our checkout. 

Connect Braintree to your Gift Up! account

  1. Log in to your Braintree Gateway account
  2. Click Settings (the cog in the top/right) > Business
  3. Copy the Merchant ID and the Merchant Account ID into Gift Up!

  4. Click Settings (the cog in the top/right) > API
  5. Click Generate New API Key
  6. Copy the Public Key and the Private Key into Gift Up!

  7. Click Connect Braintree, and we'll store and test your API keys. Once completed, we'll take payment using your Braintree account in your Gift Up! checkout.
