Eviivo is an all-in-one property management platform used by 20,000 independent properties, from stately castles and boutique hotels, to snug shepherd’s huts, cabins, city apartments, beach front villas and luxury B&Bs.

With Gift Up! and eviivo you can redeem gift vouchers in full, or apply remaining balances to bookings directly from within eviivo Suite.

Connect eviivo to Gift Up

1) Create an API key for eviivo suite. Head to  https://giftup.app/integrations/api-keys and create a new API key: 

Copy the API key Gift Up produced. 

2) Log in to your eviivo Suite account and go to SETTINGS > Property > Payment. Look for Gift Up! under the ‘Other payment methods’ section.

Paste the Gift Up! API key that you generated earlier into the API Key section:

3) Activate the connection by toggling the switch to ‘On’:

You'll also need to allow Gift Up to communicate with your eviivo account. To do this, follow the below steps.

1) Click the HELP button in eviivo Suite.

2) Go to ‘ Submit a request’ and select ‘Integrate eviivo Suite with another software (API key)

3) Enter “ I’d like to connect eviivo Suite to Gift up!” or similar in the comment box

4) Click  Submit. You will receive an email with your eviivo Client ID and Client Secret within 72 hours.

5) When you have the Client ID and Client Secret, head to Gift Up: https://giftup.app/integrations and locate the Eviivo card:

6) Click "Connect" and enter your Eviivo Client ID and Client Secret, and click Connect:

How Gift Up works with your Eviivo account

When a gift card is issued or sold, we automatically add the recipient's gift card to their guest profile in eviivo Suite. Multiple gift cards for a guest will appear separately, in chronological order. The guest email address is the key that we use to automatically update the Guest Profile in eviivo Suite. If we do not match a voucher sale with a guest in your eviivo Suite account, we will create a new Guest Profile for them.

How to redeem a voucher for a guest

1) Open the guest’s booking in eviivo Suite and go to the Payments tab.

2) Choose ‘Gift Voucher’ as the Payment Type and see any voucher available, based on the email of the guest making the booking.

3) Adjust the ‘Amount’ if needed. The system will default to deduct the highest amount due on the booking, provided there is a sufficient balance available on the gift voucher.

4) Verify the voucher by clicking on ‘Verify Voucher‘. This will show you if the voucher is still valid and how much balance is remaining.If a gift voucher does not appear as available to use in eviivo Suite, you can manually apply a voucher to a guest or their booking. Simply follow these steps:

1) Find the voucher reference in the Gift Up! dashboard.

2) Enter the voucher reference in the  Voucher Reference field in eviivo Suite (see above) and click ‘Verify Voucher‘.

3) The voucher will be added to the  Guest Profile and you can redeem it as usual.

4) Redeem the voucher by clicking on ‘ Redeem Voucher‘. This will deduct the amount you enter from the voucher balance and record it in Gift Up! You can choose to accept a voucher in full or partial payment for a booking, or across multiple bookings.

Voucher transactions are listed in the payment summary as normal. Reverse a voucher redemption if needed by clicking on ‘Void‘ in the payment summary. This will restore the voucher balance to its previous state.

Note that you can only reverse the entire redemption amount, not a part of it. If you want to change the amount, you must void the redemption first and then redeem the voucher again with the new amount.
